My first sweater pattern!

My first sweater pattern, called Hidalgo, was published by Kelbourne Woolens and released yesterday!   Its a breezy square shaped tee, with punky cap sleeves and a zigzag lace back.  Turned hems and split sides make up the rest of the details.  You can purchase the pattern on Kelbourne Woolens website or on Ravelry.com.  It's knit with Fibre Company Meadow, a linen and alpaca blend 2-ply lace that is lovely to work with.  It's crisp but soft and has lovely drape.  The sweater is meant to be worn loose with 2-4" of positive ease.  The fit, yarn choice and lace back are meant to keep you cool and comfortable in the summer months.  For the same reasons, it's a great summer knitting project. This pattern is included in a great collection called Summer Sweaters put out by Kelbourne Woolens.  The other sweaters are just as breezy and cute, perfect with jeans and summer dresses.  Check them out, I hope you'll enjoy them!
